Resourcefulness – Using what you have to get the job done.

How do you feel about work? Do you have a negative spirit when it comes to your work or do you send a message that it’s important to work like you are working for God? This is what we are going to be learning in KIDS Church throughout the month of January. It is important that we are putting off the right “vibes” with the people we come into contact with. For kids, this means our friends, teachers and parents. Do those people see that you are working for God or do they see that you are working for your next allowance, or gift. For us adults, this means our boss, co-workers and even kids. Do they see that we are working for God or do they see us working for that next promotion, raise, or pat on the back?

God created us to work, He worked Himself! When we learn to truly work for God, it will bring honor to Him. We will find purpose in our life and we can impact those we come into contact with.

Colossians 3:23, NIV “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.”
