During the first full week of July, Red Mountain hosted its first ever CHAMPION Hoops Camp! Everyone who attended (myself included) had the time of their life. We were joined by former Harlem Globetrotter Melvin Adams. He brought a lot of energy and excitement to the camp and all the kids loved him. Not only did we learn basketball skills but we learned how to be a CHAMPION in life! For a first year camp I think we have a lot to build on. Melvin has already discussed that he would like to return and do a camp again next Summer. So CHAMPION Hoops Camp 2009 will be in the planning stages soon!
